Sharing & Publishing

Sharing and publishing are different ways to make content available to other people. Both remain subject to your Workspace's permissions.
Pages and Collections can be shared with existing Workspace members according to their access settings.
A person must already belong to the Workspace before they can be granted access to private content. At the same time, belonging to a Workspace does not automatically mean a person can see every private Page, Collection, or Project.
Workspace-level permissions cannot be overridden by content-level sharing.
Publishing makes supported content publicly accessible online. Public publishing is governed by Workspace-level permissions, so a Member cannot use publishing to override restrictions configured for the Workspace.
Publishing a Page or Collection makes that published item available publicly; it does not automatically publish the rest of its Project.
Deleting a Page or Collection moves it to Trash rather than removing it permanently. Only Workspace Owners and Admins can access Trash to restore or permanently delete items.
