Update existing work.
Change a status, set a due date, or assign a teammate. Supported updates apply directly and include Undo.

Share useful previews.
Paste a Notework page, project, or collection link into Slack. Supported previews add context to the conversation.
Actions use your linked Notework account and its permissions. Archiving and deleting require confirmation. Workspace-wide queries and bulk actions are not supported.
03 · Installation
Connect your workspace. Then try one thread.
Open your Notework workspace.
Sign in or create an account, then choose the workspace you want to connect.
Find the Slack connection.
Open Workspace Settings → Integrations → Slack and select Connect Slack. A Notework workspace owner or admin must connect the integration.
Approve in Slack.
Choose the correct Slack workspace and review the requested permissions. Your Slack workspace may require admin approval.
Finish in Notework.
After approval, you'll return to Integrations with a connection confirmation and steps for your first capture.
04 · Getting started
Your first capture
Use /notework help in Slack for command guidance.
- Add Notework to the Slack channel where you want to use it. Invite it explicitly to private channels.
- Reply in an existing thread: @Notework turn this into a task.
- If prompted, follow the account-linking link and sign in to the correct Notework account. Then retry the mention.
- Open Review in Notework, choose the destination and review the proposed work, then confirm creation.

Do I need a Notework account?
Yes. The app connects Slack with a Notework workspace. Members link their own accounts when prompted.
Which plan do I need?
AI capture requires an eligible Team workspace with AI enabled and available usage. Trial availability depends on workspace configuration. See Pricing for current plans.

Notework processes thread context to draft work and uses your linked account's permissions for actions. Link previews appear in the Slack conversation: private previews can include titles and locations after checking the sharer's access. Read our privacy policy for more information.

Workspace owners and admins can disconnect Slack under Workspace Settings → Integrations. Contact support or visit the Help center if you need a hand.
